About Me
I’m a multimedia storyteller and marketing director with a background in journalism and a passion for telling stories through a variety of formats - print, digital, video, audio, and social media - each tailored to connect with the right audience at the right time.
At the Carteret County News-Times, I’ve worn many hats - reporter, editor, marketer, podcast producer, and digital strategist - all with the goal of strengthening community connection and driving results for advertisers.
Over the past 18 months, I’ve immersed myself in every aspect of newspaper operations, from circulation and design to digital engagement and branded content. I’ve grown our social media presence, launched new cross-platform initiatives like podcast series and video content, and introduced creative ad strategies that showcase the power of trusted local media.
What sets my work apart is my ability to think like a journalist and act like a marketer. I know how to ask the right questions, find the real story, and deliver it in ways that resonate, whether that’s a hard-hitting news piece, a community-focused campaign, or a branded story that builds credibility for a client.
